Privacy Policy for Fruity Blocks Puzzle

Effective Date: July 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Victor Gao ("we," "us," or "our") handles your information when you use the Fruity Blocks Puzzle mobile application — published as "Fruity Blocks Puzzle" on the Apple App Store and "Fruity Blocks: Wood Puzzle" on Google Play (Android package com.simpleduo.fruityblockspuzzle) (collectively, the "App"). It applies to both the iOS and Android versions of the App. Fruity Blocks Puzzle is a free, ad-supported block puzzle game with optional in-app purchases. We designed this App to respect your privacy: we do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or precise location. To keep the App free, we display ads through Google AdMob, and we collect only the limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and support the App. The App also uses a default anonymous identifier stored on your device for basic functionality; it is not tied to your identity.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the following limited information. We do not require you to create an account and do not collect your name, email, or precise location.

  • App Version: The version of the App you are using, to help us understand compatibility and fix issues.

  • IP Address: Your IP address is automatically processed by our servers when you use network features. We use it to deliver content, maintain security (e.g., prevent abuse), and troubleshoot. IP addresses may be stored in server logs for a limited period.

  • Default Anonymous ID (on‑device): The App uses a default anonymous identifier generated and stored on your device for basic functionality. It is not linked to your identity and is not used by us for cross‑app tracking.

  • Advertising data (via Google AdMob): To deliver ads, our advertising provider Google AdMob may collect an approximate location derived from your IP address, a device advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android; the Identifier for Advertisers, or IDFA, on iOS if you allow tracking), ad interaction data, and crash diagnostics. AdMob is a Google service and operates under Google's own privacy policy. We do not run remarketing or behavioral retargeting.

  • Purchase and subscription data: When you make an in‑app purchase or subscribe, the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) processes your payment and shares limited information we need to verify your entitlement (e.g., product ID, transaction ID, original transaction ID, subscription status and expiration date). We never receive or store your payment card number, billing address, or store account credentials.

  • On‑device progress: Your puzzle progress, unlocked content, and preferences (such as sound and music) are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us. Removing the App may delete this local data depending on your device settings.

  • Voluntary contact only: If you email us for support, we will receive the information you choose to send (e.g., your email address and message) solely to respond to your request.

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, precise or approximate location (beyond what an IP address implies), contact list, calendar, photos, microphone, or any text you type into the App. We do not build advertising or behavioral profiles about you.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use only the limited information described above.

  • Operate and secure the App: Use IP addresses to deliver content, maintain security (including abuse prevention and fraud mitigation), and troubleshoot. Logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized.

  • Show ads to keep the App free: Google AdMob uses the advertising data described above to serve and measure ads within the App. You can control ad personalization and limit ad tracking through your device settings (see "Your Choices" below).

  • Compatibility and improvements: Use App version information to ensure compatibility, diagnose issues, and improve stability.

  • Entitlement verification and fraud prevention: Use purchase/subscription data to unlock content, confirm entitlement, prevent abuse, and provide support.

  • Customer Support (optional): If you contact us, we will use your email solely to respond to your inquiry and will delete the correspondence within a reasonable period after the issue is resolved, unless we are required by law to retain it.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

To keep the App free, we display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob is a Google service and operates under Google's own privacy policy. AdMob may collect an approximate location from your IP address, a device advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android; IDFA on iOS if you enable tracking), ad interaction data, and crash diagnostics in order to serve and measure ads. We do not run remarketing or behavioral retargeting; ads shown in the App are largely contextual.

You can control how ads are personalized. To learn more or to limit ad personalization, see Google's controls:

4. In‑App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers optional Premium upgrades (monthly subscription, annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase), which unlock features such as an ad-free experience and additional content. Payments are processed directly by the app store on your platform (Apple App Store on iOS, Google Play Billing on Android), which handles your card details. We receive only the transaction identifiers and product/subscription state needed to unlock features and prevent fraud. You can view or cancel subscriptions at any time — on iOS in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or on Android at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only in limited circumstances:

  • Google AdMob: We share the advertising data described above with Google AdMob to deliver and measure ads in the App.

  • Apple and Google as payment processors: Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google, which may handle your data under their respective privacy policies. We may share necessary receipt data with them to validate transactions.

  • Service Providers: We may use service providers (e.g., hosting and email providers) to operate the App and respond to support requests. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

  • Legal Compliance: If required by law, we may disclose information we hold (for example, support correspondence or relevant log entries).

  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we will continue to honor this Privacy Policy.

6. Your Choices

You control several aspects of your data:

  • Ad personalization: Reset or limit your advertising identifier through your device settings (Google settings on Android; App Tracking and privacy settings on iOS).

  • Subscriptions: Manage or cancel Premium through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.

  • Local data: Delete your on‑device progress and preferences by clearing app data or uninstalling the App.

  • Access and deletion: If you have contacted us and believe we hold your personal information in support correspondence or logs, you may request access or deletion by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 30 days), subject to legal requirements.

7. Data Security and Retention

We take reasonable measures to protect information we handle, including any limited server logs and support emails. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain server logs and purchase/subscription verification data only as long as necessary for entitlement, support, fraud prevention, and legal/accounting obligations (typically up to 12 months), after which it is deleted or anonymized.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent in your region). If a child contacts us and provides personal information via email, we will delete that information as soon as we become aware of it.

9. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those third parties before using their websites or services.

10. International Data Transfers

We may process limited technical information (such as IP addresses in logs), advertising data, and support emails using service providers, including Google, that operate in multiple countries. We take reasonable steps to safeguard any information processed cross-border, in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will notify you in the App or through other means. Your continued use of the App after any changes to this Privacy Policy will indicate your acceptance of such changes.
