Privacy Policy for Bible Jigsaw Puzzle
Effective Date: September 3, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how simpleduo ("we," "us," or "our") handles your information when you use the Bible Jigsaw Puzzle mobile application (the "App"). We designed this App to respect your privacy: we collect only minimal technical information necessary to operate and secure the App—specifically, the App version and your IP address. We do not create user accounts and we do not collect other personal information. The App also uses a default anonymous identifier stored on your device for basic functionality; it is not tied to your identity.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the following limited information. We do not collect other personal data.
App Version: The version of the App you are using, to help us understand compatibility and fix issues.
IP Address: Your IP address is automatically processed by our servers when you use network features. We use it to deliver content, maintain security (e.g., prevent abuse), and troubleshoot. IP addresses may be stored in server logs for a limited period.
Default Anonymous ID (on‑device): The App uses a default anonymous identifier generated and stored on your device for basic functionality. It is not linked to your identity, is not used for cross‑app tracking, and is not shared with third parties.
Purchase and subscription data from Apple: When you make an in‑app purchase or subscribe, we receive limited information from Apple needed to verify your entitlement (e.g., product_id, transaction_id, original_transaction_id, subscription status and expiration date). We do not receive or store your payment card details.
No accounts: The App does not require you to create an account and does not collect usernames or profile data.
Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob): Our App integrates Google AdMob to display advertisements. To provide this service, Google AdMob may collect and process certain information, including:
Location: IP address (for approximate location).
Identifiers: Device identifiers (e.g., IDFV or anonymous IDs).
Usage Data: Information about your interaction with advertisements.
Diagnostics: Crash logs and performance data.
We do not serve personalized advertisements based on your past behavior; the ads you see are contextual.
On‑device progress: Your puzzle progress and settings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us. Removing the App may delete this local data depending on your device settings.
Custom images (user‑uploaded photos): The App allows you to add your own photos to create custom puzzles. All custom images you upload are stored exclusively on your device and are never transmitted to our servers or any third parties. We have no access to your custom images. These images remain under your complete control and are subject to your device's local storage and backup settings.
Voluntary contact only: If you email us for support, we will receive the information you choose to send (e.g., your email address and message) solely to respond to your request.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to operate the App and provide a free service supported by advertising.
Operate and secure the App: Use IP addresses to deliver content, maintain security (including abuse prevention and fraud mitigation), and troubleshoot. Logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized.
Compatibility and improvements: Use App version information to ensure compatibility, diagnose issues, and improve stability.
Entitlement verification and fraud prevention: Use purchase/subscription data to unlock content, confirm entitlement, prevent abuse, and provide support.
Customer Support (optional): If you contact us, we will use your email solely to respond to your inquiry and will delete the correspondence within a reasonable period after the issue is resolved, unless we are required by law to retain it.
Advertising: We work with Google AdMob to display advertisements in the App. This allows us to offer the App for free.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only in limited circumstances:
Service Providers: We may use service providers (e.g., hosting and email providers) to operate the App and respond to support requests. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
Advertising Partners: We share necessary technical data (such as IP addresses and device identifiers) with Google AdMob to enable the delivery of advertisements. You can learn more about how Google manages data in its Privacy Policy.
Apple as payment processor: Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple, which may handle your data under Apple's privacy policy. We may share necessary receipt data with Apple to validate transactions.
Legal Compliance: If required by law, we may disclose information we hold (for example, support correspondence or relevant log entries).
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we will continue to honor this Privacy Policy. We do not maintain user accounts or profiles.
4. Data Security and Retention
We take reasonable measures to protect information we handle, including any limited server logs and support emails. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain purchase/subscription verification data only as long as necessary for entitlement, support, fraud prevention, and legal/accounting obligations (typically up to 12 months), after which it is deleted or anonymized.
5. Children's Privacy
The app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent in your region). If a child contacts us and provides personal information via email, we will delete that information as soon as we become aware of it.
6. Your Rights
We collect only minimal information (App version and IP address in server logs). If you have contacted us and believe we hold your personal information in support correspondence or logs, you may request access or deletion by writing to the address below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and, where feasible, comply with your request subject to legal requirements.
7. Third-Party Links
The app may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those third parties before using their websites or services.
8. International Data Transfers
We may process limited technical information (such as IP addresses in logs) and support emails using service providers that operate in multiple countries. We take reasonable steps to protect such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will notify you in the app or through other means. Your continued use of the app after any changes to this Privacy Policy will indicate your acceptance of such changes.
